Good hamburger, at a great corner bar that is not trying to look like Bennigan's or TGIF. I like that the owner is almost always present, and aware of what's going on. I would recommend namebrand condiments because if you do you'll be able to draft off the brand recognition of Heinz ketchup. I love Heinz's motto... To do a common thing, uncommonly well.

This place is not bad, I had the 1/2 rack of ribs and split an order of wings. The ribs were really good, tender and grilled perfectly. The wings were pretty good as well. The atmosphere is a bar/grill kind of comfy little place to grab a cold one and some food on a Friday evening. The staff are attentive and all around had good service, it may seem slow but it is a laid back atmosphere.

The food is pretty good but the ambiance is lacking... big time. It is super-outdated on the inside and kind of makes you lose your appetite. And it smells a bit how it looks.. dingy.

It's pretty much your basic local bar. Wings were fair size, tried the Cajun and Honey Barbeque. Both were really good. Flavor fire grilled into chicken, not slathered on. Others at the table had Philly, Chicken sandwich and the Super nachos, they all said food was great. Everything was fresh and warm when it came to the table, including French fries. Only meal that wasn't enjoyed was the French dip. Said it had no flavor. Service was ok. They don't seem to have a dedicated waitress for tables that aren't in bar area. So whoever is bartending is basically bartending and waitressing the entire restaurant. That's a huge feat for anyone to try and do. From reading the other reviews, it sounds like that's the norm for that place. The decor is a bit dated, and dark. Giving it a bit of a depressing feel. All in all, It wasn't horrible, we could possibly be back at some point, if we are out that way.

I think some of the food is underrated (such as the fried flounder), and the wings are fantastic but all and all its a pretty mediocre if not sub par place. I may have only given it two stars if it wasn't for the friendly staff. The inside decor needs a major renovation...its dark and very blah. The outside deck is really cool but there's almost never any live entertainment out there. Karaoke is very hit or miss on Fridays.

The food was good, enjoyed eating out on the patio. It's really to bad the owner doesn't clean up the place. Up date inside take out the carpets and have real tables and it's very dark. In order to make money you have to spend money. You have a lot of competition out there, get busy

This is where the locals go. Wings are great. Staff is even better. Great place to watch a game. Some of the other comments mentioned dated decor and yes, it's true. But who cares for wings and drinks and to watch a game? We recently moved to this area. Knew no one here. Stephanie was the first person who remembered our names and when you're the new kids in town, that means something. Their customer service is stellar and we're grateful we live so close.

Wings were mediocre but the staff was friendly and the beer was cold. Decor is very dated.

This is my first yelp review for a reason. From the website we decided this was a place to visit. Boy, were we wrong. We weren't greeted at the door and we had to ask if we could seat ourselves. We then got a server who acted as if she couldn't care less if we were there or not, even though we were her only table. My boyfriend ordered a water and never got a refill, the 4 dollar cup of "she crab soup" was watery and terrible, and their "jumbo" wings (as they are advertised on TV) are tiny and bland. We hoped that our server would ask how everything was at the end of the meal so that we could tell her how awful it was, but we ended up waiting 20 minutes for her to leave the bar to even notice us. AWFUL service! AWFUL food! Don't waste your money at this place!

This place was recommended so I took my family there. The decor was average at best. The food unfortunately was worse. The only thing that was good where the wings. Everything else wasn't good. Not a place I would recommend to anyone. Sorry

Always have a great time at blues! Large outdoor patio with corn hole and basketball hoop! Half priced wings on Mondays! The wings are fried AND grilled and double the size of wild wings! Definitely the hottest bartenders in town! Will definitely be back!

Dark & depressing inside. Lousy food. Won't be back... ever.

Rt. 41 location: Wings are good. Very large and the sauce is cooked in. Not just slathered on. Skip the coleslaw. They gave us much more than we ordered in our carryout but realized it was the dregs when we got home. Smelled old and ended up in the garbage disposal. Would rather they told us they didn't have any fresh coleslaw and thrown it in the garbage disposal themselves and saved our $$.

Awful! We went once and said we would never go again. 2 months later we went because it was so close to our house and were equally disappointed. The nachos are out of a bag with shredded cheese and microwaved, the hamburger buns are generic wal mart and tasteless, the meat was dry, the wings were so so and small (I'm a wing freak) too many good delicious restaurants in Mt P to go back here again.

We eat at Blue's (the one on Hwy 41) 2 or 3 times per month and really enjoy it. The main draw for us is the wings, which are quite large and fire cooked, not fried. I usually get them hot, which I would consider medium but the flavor is great. They still have a decent "bite" to them. My wife also likes their chicken fingers. Blue's fries are pretty good but their onion rings are really excellent. Portion size is good to. An order of rings is easily split between my wife and me. I'm not sure if Blue's makes their own bleu cheese dressing but it is excellent as well. We had their "smoked" ribs the other night and they were just okay. I really couldn't taste much smoke at all. I'll probably stick with the wings in the future, especially since that's what I really go there for anyway. They have a decent selection of beer with several choices on tap. I normally get the draft Yuengling, which is always a good choice. In the dining room there are TVs at each Booth. In the bar are 3 large screen TVs, usually tuned to sports. Oddly not many women seem to go to Blue's and in the bar area the guys can get pretty loud. The dining room is much quieter so if you want to have conversation, that's the place to be. It can be difficult to hear sometimes in the bar area but the seating is more comfortable at the tall tables, in my opinion. Service is pretty good and the waitresses are always friendly. Sometimes they are overwhelmed though. It seems like at busy times they tend to be a little understaffed. But if you aren't happy about something, they'll try to make it right. All in all, we're fans. We'll probably be back in the next week or so. I definately recommend Blue's House of Wings.

The best wings ever. The restaurant pretty much caters to the residents of the Rivertowne country club community. Having lived in Rivertowne for a year, I'm proud of myself for my restraint in not stuffing my face with wings every other day. Yes, they are that good. Their wings are crispy on the outside without being fried and over breaded. The meat was moist and tender. Their wide of variety of sauces provided a light coating of flavor. Definitely stop by if you're in the area, after a round of golf of course.

Sad to say I have o give his place such a low score. I do so because I ordered the wings, their specialty, and they were crap. I like all kinds of good wings. Dry spice, double baked, drenched and it just did not hit me. They were decent at best and poor for me, someone who really likes wings. I would not go ere unless you live by here and are looking for a place to watch a game. So that means Rivertowne and Dunes West. The rest of you go somewhere else and I will keep you posted if I find it!
